Theresa Cruz
Grant Opportunities for Minority Researchers from the National Institutes of Health
Theresa Hayes Cruz, Ph.D., joined the Center in 2009, as a Program Analyst. Dr. Cruz received her undergraduate education from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, School of Engineering. She received her master's and doctoral degrees in biomedical engineering from Northwestern University. Her previous research at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago focused on motor control and gait impairments of the lower limb following stroke. Since coming to the NICHD, Dr. Cruz has assisted several NCMRR Branches, particularly the Spinal Cord and Musculoskeletal Disorders and Assistive Devices Branch and the Behavioral Sciences and Rehabilitation Technologies Branch.
