Our training events are developed and designed to meet the needs of people with disabilities, rehabilitation professionals, families, and persons working in business and industry. The following training formats are available:

Continuing Education
Continuing Education training enables you to improve your skills and provide increased value to your employer, customers, and/or students throughout your career. We currently offer the following continuing education credits:
- Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification (CRCC®) Continuing Education
The Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification (CRCC®) is an independent, not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with disabilities. To maintain certification, CRCs and CCRCs must renew their certification every 5 years via continuing education or, for CRCs only, also via re-examination.
- VCU School of Education Continuing Education Units (CEUs)
Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are available to participants for completion of the online courses. The Continuing Education Unit is a nationally recognized method of quantifying the time spent engaging in professional development and training activities.
- ACRE Certification
The Association of Community Rehabilitation Educators (ACRE) awards nationally recognized Certificates of Achievement to providers of employment services to people with disabilities. This Certificate documents that the provider has satisfactorily completed a minimum of 40 hours of training or professional development provided by an ACRE-approved training resource.
- Certificates of Completion
A certificate of completion is available for participants who complete various online training activities. Participants must fulfill requirements to receive the certificate.
