Designing for all doesn’t have to be overwhelming! So many teachers are enthusiastic about Universal Design for Learning (UDL) but frustrated with their lack of time and resources for exploring new ideas. This presentation is for any educator who wants to add more UDL strategies to their classroom but needs those strategies to be accessible and easy to implement. In this presentation, participants will learn how to “hack” UDL and expand options for representation, engagement, and expression. Featured hacks include showing “this and that,” embracing assistive tech, and starting with struggles.
