Structured abstract:

Background:  Safety education for workers is important. It is imperative when conducting worker safety education to use models that establish and promote factors that affect behavior. The glass production industry in Hamedan, Iran, in 2014 is the subject of the current study, which is geared toward learning the effect that safety education based on motivational interviewing on awareness of, attitudes toward, and engagement in worker safety.
