The Vocational Rehabilitation Technical Assistance Center for Quality Employment's (VRTAC-QE) goal is to increase the knowledge and skills of state vocational rehabilitation (VR) agencies and community partners that help people with disabilities achieve quality employment and career advancement, with emphasis on competitive integrated employment.
These are the six objectives to help us move forward with achieving our goals.
1) The VRTAC-QE website will act as a central hub for sharing project goals and outcomes, accessing training and technical assistance, and dissemination information and resources.
2) The VRTAC-QE team will conduct a multi-level comprehensive review to identify best practices leading to quality employment for individuals with disabilities.
3) Our experienced team will provide intensive, targeted, and universal training and technical assistance to State VR agencies, based on their specific needs.
4) Our team will help share information and resources available from related technical assistance centers, organizations, and community partners.
5) As we develop findings, reports, training, and other information helpful to improving employment outcomes for people with disabilities, you will find them here.
6) How will we know if our work is making a difference? We will conduct a rigorous project evaluation that incorporates RSA 911 data to assess the effectiveness of VRTAC-QE employment strategies and supporting activities.
