Melissa Ware, M.Ed., is a Training and Technical Assistance Associate at the Autism Center for Education (ACE). With over 20 years of experience across K-12 settings, she has held both administrative and classroom roles, supporting students with disabilities and complex educational needs. Melissa’s background includes ABA services, work in state training centers and residential programs, adult case management, and facilitation of state-mandated substance use education classes.
A Crisis Prevention Instructor, Threat Assessment Trainer, and Trauma-Informed Educator, Melissa provides professional development and coaching focused on student engagement, as well as safe, inclusive, and accessible learning environments. Her work is grounded in justice-based humanity, supportive autonomy, and equitable practices. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership at Virginia Commonwealth University.
